ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
This concert invites us to experience musical gestures, emotions, and character as they unfold within the span of three centuries, through changing musical languages. From the vivid, conversational world of Bach and the refined elegance of Rameau, to the intimate gestures of Beethoven’s late Bagatelles, and finally the bold, expansive expression of Chopin’s First Scherzo, the music becomes ever more personal, dramatic, and expressive over time.
